Lithium carbonate, alias high-purity lithium carbonate, is an inorganic compound with a chemical formula of Li2CO3 , which is a colorless monoclinic crystal or white powder with a density of 2.11 g/cm3 , slightly soluble in water, and solubility ratio in cold water. The solubility in hot water is small.
Industrial grade lithium carbonate is widely used in aluminum electrolysis, special glass, ceramics, glaze and other industries, and can be converted into series of compounds such as lithium chloride and lithium bromide; battery grade lithium carbonate is used in the cathode material and electrolyte material industry of lithium ion batteries, and is also special glass. And the basic raw materials such as the rear-projection color TV industry; the analytical chemistry group is used as an analytical reagent; and the coagulant can be used as a cement admixture.
